The administration of the endoscopy department, Federal Scientific Clinical Center, reports that this department successfully uses a recording and broadcasting appliance, Epiphan Lecture Recorder x2.

Epiphan Lecture Recorder x2 enabled us to broadcast medical imaging data from the Cellvizio Confocal Endomicroscopy system. In particular, this appliance was used during an international theoretical and practical conference “Modern endoscopic technologies for diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases.” Lecture Recorder x2 provided high-quality live broadcasting from an OR to the assembly hall of a health care facility. The participants were able to view live video from the screen of endoscopic equipment.

Our department is looking forward to further fruitful cooperation with OOO “Epiphan Labs”. We also plan to use your company's solutions in future.

The administration of the intervential radiology department, Federal Scientific Clinical Center, reports that this department successfully uses a recording and broadcasting appliance, Epiphan MedRecorder.

The Epiphan MedRecorder appliances enabled us to record and broadcast video from the medical equipment. In particular, they were used during multiple conferences in Federal Scientific Clinical Center. Medical imaging data were broadcast in a high quality to other countries via Internet and recorded as video files.

Our department is looking forward to further fruitful cooperation with OOO “Epiphan Labs”. We also plan to use your company's solutions in future.

On the International Space Station (ISS), the diagnosis of medical issues and injuries is problematic. For this reason the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has developed a versatile ultrasound diagnostic technique for remote use on the ISS.

Telecommunication solutions by Epiphan have been useful for the NASA training programs. These programs are necessary to train astronauts to remotely operate ultra sound equipment on the International Space Station (ISS). Then they were transitioned to improve medical care on the Earth. Non-physician astronauts were guided to perform over 100 hours of complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures on the ISS.

Using Epiphan technology, a non-physician can, with minimal technical know-how, send medical imaging for consultation with experts. I am sure that Epiphan’s participation in the Skolkovo Innovation Project will prove useful and productive contributing in development of high-performance telecommunication solutions for remote diagnostics.

Henry Ford Hospital

Henry Ford Health System has successfully collaborated with Epiphan Systems under the direction of their CEO Mike Sandler for several years. Our initial interactions required a modification of their products to health care environment to allow complex ultrasound examinations to be seamlessly transmitted to our tertiary care facility from a number of locations. Mr. Sandler's team at Epiphan rapidly and cost effectively developed simple, point of care solutions which we have used in a wide variety of environments the US Olympic Committee, professional football, baseball, and hockey teams. We have also used the Epiphan products in remote locations such as the North Pole and during the Canadian Mount Everest Medical Operations Expedition to allow us to provide medical care in these austere environments.

We recently incorporated the Epiphan product into our global outreach program in undeserved regions across Earth. This program is currently active in over 40 countries; I believe that epiphan has strong potential for development and is able to reach new heights in telecommunication research.
